Sri Ajai Srivastava did his B. Tech and M. Tech, both in Electrical Engineering, from IIT Kanpur before joining the Indian Administrative Service in 1987. He was allotted Manipur-Tripura cadre and spent his initial years in service in Manipur.

Nivedita has practiced extensively for many years as a counsel in the Supreme Court and High Courts in field of Constitutional, Civil and Criminal Law. Nivedita was the standing counsel for Union of India for the Supreme Court. She has deep interests in social, environmental and human rights issues and heads the firm’s Pro-bono practice.
