Mad. HC dismisses appeals filed by the Indian Tech companies against Google’s new billing policy

The Madras High Court (Mad. HC) while dealing with an appeal against the order passed by a single judge of Mad. HC wherein the judge had dismissed the petition, has held that the issues relating to Google’s in-app billing policy falls within the jurisdiction of the Competition Commission of India and that the remedy is available in the Competition Act, 2002. The Mad. HC, while upholding the judgment passed by the single judge, granted interim protection to these Indian Tech companies from getting delisted from the PlayStore.
