Hellofresh to issue more clear descriptions about the contents & conditions of its subscriptions: ACM

The Netherlands Authority for Consumers & Markets (ACM), upon perusal of complaints regarding the issue of consumers that had unwittingly taken out subscriptions, has directed HelloFresh, a provider of recipe boxes/food boxes/farm boxes, to give more detailed description on the contents & conditions of its subscriptions. The ACM further opined that in case of un-delivered recipe-boxes & missing products, Hellofresh, since replacements or repairs does not seem realistic options, should provide for refunds, rather than offering vouchers to its customers.
